Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said that India cannot move ahead ignoring its women population. Inaugurating the 7th National Conference of Women in Police in Gurgaon today, Mr Singh said, women have big role to play to make India more strong, sufficient and proud. He said, women are not only standing shoulder to shoulder with their male colleagues but also going ahead. <br/><br/>Mr Singh said, in the ancient times women took a lead role in building the society. The minister also paid tributes to the women officers who laid down their lives on the line of duty.
