India bundled out for 152 in 1st innings of 4th Test Vs Eng

On the first day of the Manchester Test India were bundled out for 152. Stuart Broad's six wicket haul removed the top Indian batting order back in the pavilion. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the top scorer with 71. The other notable scorers were: Ravichandran Ashwin who hit 40, and Ajinkya Rahane who made 24. India also equalled the world record of maximum number of 6 ducks in a Test innings alongside South Africa and Bangladesh.England were 113 for 3 at stumps in their first inning on the opening day. Ian Bell on 45 and Chris Jordan, yet to score, were at the crease.The batsmen out were Skipper Alastair Cook for 17, Sam Robson 6 and Gary Balance for 37. For India, Varun Aaron claimed two wickets while Bhuvneshwar Kumar took one.Earlier, electing to bat after winning the toss, India were all out for a meager 152 in their first innings.
