India, Bulgaria renew commitments to fight terrorism, illegal drug-trafficking

India and Bulgaria have renewed their commitments to fight the menace of global terrorism, illegal drug-trafficking and transnational organized crimes. Minister of State for Home Mullapally Ramachandran and Deputy Minister for Interior of Bulgaria Mr. Veselin Vuchkov have also discussed the bilateral security issues between the two countries and explored the possibilities of further strengthening the bonds of cooperation.

A Home Ministry release issued in New Delhi says, Mr Ramachandran stated that both the sides should share their experiences and best management practices in various areas of security.
