Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil had a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the IBSA and BRIC Summit in which they had detailed discussions on bilateral, regional and multilateral issues and renewed their commitment to strengthen the India-Brazil strategic partnership. Both leaders expressed their satisfaction at the bilateral trade which has been 5.6 billion US Dollars in 2009 despite the impact of the international financial crisis.
