Gautam Gambhir-led India Blue has clinched the inaugural day/night Duleep Trophy Cricket tournament played with a pink ball. In the Final, held in Greater Noida, they defeated India Red, captained by Yuvraj Singh, by a massive 355 runs.After opting to bat in the 5-day game, the Blues had declared their first innings at 693 for 6 riding on Cheteshwar Pujara's unbeaten 256 and Sheldon Jackson's 134. They had, then, bundled out the Reds for 356.On the final day yesterday, India Blue had declared their second innings at 179 for 5 giving the Reds a mammoth 517 runs to chase. The Reds were, however, skittled out for just 161.Ravinder Jadeja, who bagged 5 wickets in the second innings, finished the game with a 10-wicket haul.Pujara was named player of the match.India will begin its three-match Test series against New Zealand next Thursday with a game in Kanpur.
