India and Bhutan have reaffirmed their commitment not to allow their territories to be used against each other.
In a joint statement issued at the end of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bhutan, the two countries agreed to continue their close cooperation with each other on issues related to their national inteterest.
New Delhi said, the first ever foreign visit by Mr Modi as Prime Minister has reinforced and further strengthened the relations between India and Bhutan.
India conveyed its decision to exempt Bhutan from any ban or quantitative restrictions on exports of five food items. These are Milk powder, Wheat, Edible oil, Pulses and Non-basmati rice.
