In reply, India scored 211 for 4 with five balls to spare. Birthday boy Yuvraj Singh scored 60 runs of 25 balls, while Virender Sehwag top scored with 64 of 36 balls. The first Twenty 20 was won by Sri Lanka at Nagpur.
