Left-handed opener, Gautam Gambhir's confident maiden century as the Indian Captain helped Team India beat New Zealand in the second one-day international cricket match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday. The Men in Blue defeated the Kiwis by eight wickets to take a 2-nil lead in this five match ODI series. In reply to New Zealand's 258 runs, the hosts achieved their target with the loss of two wickets and with seven overs to spare. Skipper, Gautam Gambhir was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for his unbeaten innings of 138 runs which came of just 116 balls. The next match will be played at Vadodara on Saturday.
