India beat West Indies by 224 runs in 4th ODI

India defeated the West Indies by 224 runs in fourth ODI on Monday in Mumbai to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.

Chasing a mammoth target of 378 runs, West Indies were all out for 153 in 36.2 overs.

Earlier, winning the toss and electing to bat, Rohit Sharma and Ambati Rayudu struck belligerent centuries to guide India to a mammoth 377 for five.

Rohit and Rayudu took centre stage after a rare failure by skipper Virat Kohli to power India to the imposing total. Rohit's 162, 21st career century came off 137 balls with the help of 20 fours and four hits over the fence while Rayudu decorated his 100-run knock with eight boundaries and four sixes.

West Indies Skipper Jason Holder top-scored for the visitors with his unbeaten 54-run knock.

For India, Kuldeep Yadav and Khaleel Ahmed took three wickets each and Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Ravindra Jadeja one apiece.

Rohit Sharma was declared Man of the Match.

The last and final one-dayer will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on the 1st of next month.
