India beat Sussex by six wickets in their one-day tour match at Hove on Thursday. The match was reduced to 45-over-a-side affair after rain interruptions. Put in to bat, Sussex were 236 all out in 45 overs. Matt Machan top-scored with 56. India overhauled the victory target of 237 by making 238 for four in 40.5 overs. Virat Kohli was the top scorer with 71, while Parthiv Patel made 55. Sachin Tendulkar was out for 21. The two not out batsmen were Rohit Sharma with 61, and Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni with One.
