India beat Sri Lanka by 69 runs in the second T20 Cricket match in Ranchi to level the three-match series Friday night. Chasing a target of 197, Sri Lanka could made 127 for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Chamara Kapugedera made 32 while Dinesh Chandimal scored 31 runs. For India, Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets while Ravindra Jadeja and Ashish Nehra claimed two wickets each. Earlier put into bat, India made 196 for six in their 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan hit 51 runs off just 25 balls while Rohit Sharma made 43 off 36 balls. Suresh Raina scored 30 runs, Hardik Pandya 27 and Ajinkya Rahane 25. For visitors, Thisara Parrera picked up a hat-trick towards the end of the Indian innings. India had lost the first match in Pune.
