India have won the the second ODI at Indore by 22 runs. South Africa could manage to do only 225 in reply to India's 247 for 9 in the stipulated 50 overs. The chief architect of India's victory was skipper MS Dhoni who remained not out on 92. Dhoni was declared Man of the match. Bhubaneswar Kumar and A R Patel took three wickets each. For the visitors, F du Plessis with 51 runs was the top scorer. India had lost the first ODI of the 5-match series by 5 runs at Kanpur on Sunday. Prior to the series, South Africa had won the 3-match T-20 series, 2-0. The ODI series will be followed by 4 Tests.
