India beat New Zealand 4-2 in their second outing in Pool A, at the Champions Trophy hockey tournament at Melbourne. India is now the only team in the tournament with two wins in two games. Akashdeep, Guwinder, Raghunath and Danish scored one goal each. In another pool A fixture, England defeated World Number one Germany 4-1, after suffering a surprising loss against India on Saturday. It was the first ever win for England against Germany at the Champions Trophy. In pool B, Pakistan thrashed Belgium 2-0. From Pakistan's side it was Abdul Haseem Khan who scored on a breakout firing the shot high into the net with 15 minutes left in the game.
