India stunned the Netherlands, 3-2 in their final group match of the Men's Hockey Champions Trophy at Bhubaneswar last night. SV Sunil, Manpreet Singh and Rupinder Pal Singh sounded the board for India, while for the Dutch, Mink van der Weeden scored both the goals.This was India's first victory over the Netherlands since the Olympic qualifying tournament in Barcelona in 1996. With the win, India finished third in Pool-B. It had lost its opening two fixtures. In the quarterfinals, India will take on Belgium tomorrow.
