India stormed into the final of South Asian Football Federation Cup tournament defeating Maldives 3-2 in the semi-finals at Thiruvananthapuram Stadium, Kerala today. Sunil Chhetri and Jeje Lalpekhlua gave India a 2-0 lead but Nashid Ahmed pulled one back for Maldives to make 2-1 at the break. Jeje restored India's two-goal lead but Amdhan Ali once again pulled one back. India will meet in the final on 3rd January with the winner of second semi-finals between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.
