India beat England by 8 wickets, take 2-0 lead in series

India beat England by eight wickets in the third cricket Test at Mohali to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Resumig their second innings at their overnight 78 for four, on the fourth day today, the visitors were all out for 236 runs. Joe Root and Haseeb Hameed played defiant innings. Root struck 78 while Haseeb remained not out on 59. Ravichandran Ashwin claimed three wickets. Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, and Jayant Yadav took two wickets each. The hosts then surpassed the victory target of 103 runs by making 104 for 2 in 20.2 overs. Parthiv Patel made an unbeaten 67.
