India defeated Canada 3-0 in the World Hockey League Semi-final group game in London today. The goals came through S.V.Sunil, Akashdeep Singh and Sardar Singh. With this win, India replaced Canada to top Pool B, with six points. India got 3 points earlier after drubbing Scotland 4-1 in their tournament opener on Thursday. India will now take on arch rivals Pakistan tomorrow. The match will start at 6.30 p.m. Indian Standard Time. The Indian team is being led by Manpreet Singh. Interestingly, Canada which lost to India today, had thrashed Pakistan 6-0 in their opening match yesterday.
