India have clinched the ongoing five-match ODI series against Australia by taking an unassailable 3-0 lead. India beat the visitors by 5 wickets in the third ODI at Indore today. Chasing 294 for a win, India overhauled the target with 13 balls to spare in front of a packed Holkar stadium at Indore. Openers Rohit Sharma made 71 and Ajikya Rahane contributed 70 to set the platform for the win with their 131-run partnership while Hardik Pandya steered the side to victory with his crucial 78 run knock off 72 balls. Earlier, Australian opener Aaron Finch's 124 run innings helped the visitors to score 293 for six in stipulated 50 overs. India had won the first and second encounters played at Chennai and Kolkata by convincing margins.
