India beat Argentina, 3-2, in their 2nd encounter in the Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia today. At Johor Bahru, Argentina drew first blood when Carlos Ibarra converted a penalty corner in the 16th minute. India achieved parity in the 23rd minute through a field goal. The South Americans made it 2-1 in the 42nd minute through a penalty stroke while the Indians struck again to make it 2-2 in the 16th minute. Two minutes later Ramandeep put India ahead to give India 3-2 lead. Argentina had lost their opening match 4-2 against Malaysia while India were 2-1 winners over England yesterday.
