India today defeated Afghanistan by eight wickets in their last league match of the on-going Asia Cup cricket tournament. At Mirpur in Bangladesh, chasing 160 runs for a win, India achieved the target in 32.2 overs. Earlier, put in to bat, Afghanistan were all out for 159 in 45.2 overs.India who were already out of the title race, finished their engagements in the five-nation tournament with Nine points which also includes a bonus point earned today. The final between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played in Dhaka on Saturday. Both the teams finished at the top of the table with Thirteen points each.
