The Home Secretaries of India and Bangladesh along with their delegations had detailed discussions on security related and border management issues on the opening day of their talks which began in New Delhi yesterday. Action against insurgent groups, activating nodal points for intelligencve sharing, action on red corner notices, steps to check smuggling of arms, ammunition and fake currency notes, fencing along the border, measures to check illegal cross border movement and enhanced cooperation of the enforcement agencies is being discussed threadbare at the talks. The two sides are reported to have finalised agreements on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, extradition Treaty and Bilateral Agreement on combating international terrorism organised crime and illicit trafficking which are expected to be signed during Sheikh Hansina visit to India.<br/>
