India and Bangladesh will hold Foreign Secretary level talks on Tuesday which will be focused on various aspects of the bilateral relations and sub regional issues. Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao who is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow will lead the Indian delegation during the talks with the Bangladesh delegation which will be led by Foreign Secretary Mohamed Mijarul Quayes.The discussions will provide both sides an opportunity to take stock of the progress of implementation of the decisions taken during Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India in January last year and also help in preparations for the proposed visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to Bangladesh.During her two day stay in Dhaka, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao will also call on Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Foreign Minister Dr. Dipu Moni and other high dignitaries in Bangladesh.
