India-Bangladesh start World Cup fight

India take on co-hosts Bangladesh in the opening match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka this afternoon. This first Group-B encounter will be a day night affair and both sides will be eager to gain some momentum in the early stages of the tenth edition of the biggest cricket event. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary alternately in Hindi and English on the match from 1:30 PM onwards on its Rajdhani and FM Gold Channels. The commentary will also be available on additional frequencies DLS-8 and DLC-10. During the commentary period, News Bulletins on FM Gold will stand cancelled and major bulletins at 2 PM, 2:30 PM, 8:45 PM and 9 PM will be broadcast on FM Rainbow network.
