The India-Bangladesh Joint River Commission is meeting today in New Delhi after five years. Water Resources Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal will lead Indian side in this two-day meeting while Bangladeshi delegation will be headed by Ramesh Chandra Sen. According to Water Resources Secretary U N Panjiyar, the focus of the meeting will be Teesta water sharing. AIR correspondent reports that the Ganga treaty issue is also expected to come up in the meeting.
