India won three golds, one silver and one bronze today on the 7th day of the Commonwealth games so far. The first gold was won by Women Archer Deepika Kumari in the recurve individual category. Deepika defeated England's Elison Williamson in the final.The bronze in the same event was also won by India's Dola Banerjee. Dola Banerjee defeated Malaysia's Anbarasi Subramaniam.The second gold for India was won by Harpreet Singh in the Mens 25 metres Centre fire pistol shooting. Vijay Kumar who finished behind Harpreet won the silver in the same event.Third Gold for India was won by Rahul Banerjee in Men's individual recurve event.India are in second position on the Games Medal Tally with 27 golds, 18 silver and 19 bronze.In 66 Kg, free style wrestling India's Sushil Kumar has entered the finals beating Famara Jarjou of Gambia. Sushil finshed his bout in nine seconds. This is the quickest time taken by a wrestler to beat his opponent in this Commonwealth Games.Joginder Kumar in the Super heavy weight category has advanced to the finals. Joginder takes on Ajrun Bhuller of Canada in the final match. India's Anuj Kumar in the 84 Kilogram also entered the finals beating Dick Endreo of Nigeria. Anuj will take on the challenge from Pakistan's Mohammed Inam in the final.In Weightlifting Women's 75 kg category final match slated this afternoon, India's medal hopes rests on Geetarani, who is in contention.In Boxing, India's Jai Bhagwan takes on Waheed Sogbamu of Nigeria in the Men's 60 kg light weight category quarter final.Dil Bagh Singh in 69 kg welter weight category, Vijender Singh in 75 kg middle weight, Manoj Kumar in 64 kg light welter weight, Manpreet Singh in 91 kg heavy weight and Paramjeet Samota in 91 kg super heavy weight are contesting in their quarter-final bouts.Anil Kumar in 55 Kilogram category lost in the Quarter final match to Azhar Hussain of Pakistan. In cycling, which six indians are in contention in the men's 168 kilometre race.In Women's 112 Cycling race Australia won the Gold and Silver while New Zealand took bronze.In Tennis, India's Somdev Devvarman takes on the challenge from Matt Ebden of Australia in the gold decider high profile match. In Hockey, India plays Pakistan in a Men's A group match.In Athletics, Indian medal hopes prevail as Vikas Gowda competes in Men's discuss throw final today. Mayookha Mathali Kunnael, Prajusha Maliakkal and Resmi Bose are also competing for gold in the Women's long jump final.In Women's 800 metres race, Tintu Lukka and Sinimole Paulose will race for India today.
