India bags four more Golds in CWG today

India and England are neck in neck to wrest the second position in the Commonwealth Games. While India has 36 Golds, England has 37 overtaking India. India has 95 medals to its credit while the England is way ahead with 138 in its kitty. Indian boxers basked in glory on the tenth day of the games winning three golds. Manoj Kumar defeated Bradley Saunders of England in 64kg category.Another boxer Suranjoy Mayengbam Singh won the gold without having to fight the final bout. He got a walkover as his opponent Benson Njangiru of Kenya did not turn up. Suranjoy was pleasantly surprised with the development. Paramjeet Samota won the gold in the super heavy weight category defeating Tariq Abdul Haqq of Trinidad and Tobago.The first Gold medal of the day for India, came in Table-Tennis when duo of Subhajit Saha and Achanta Sharat Kamal defeated Gao Ning and Yang Zing of Singapore 3-2 in the Men's Doubles event today.
