India bags 2 gold and a silver in China

India bagged 2 Gold and a Silver on the penultimate day of the Asian Athletics Championships in Wuhan, China yesterday. Ace Discus Thrower Vikas Gowda won the coveted yellow metal with 62.03 metre hurl, while Lalita Babar clinched the top honours in the 3,000 metres steeplechase event.G. Lakshmanan fetched a Silver in the 10,000 metre race. This was his second medal of the Championships. With yesterday's three medals, India's medal tally swelled to 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze.
