India bag two more gold today

India bags two more gold in the Commonwealth Games, regaining second position with 26 gold, four short of the highest in Manchester Games.Deepika Kumari wins gold in Women Archery in the recurve individual category; Harpreet Singh tops in Men's 25 metres Centre fire pistol shooting. India won two more gold, one silver and one bronze today on the 7th day of the Commonwealth games so far. The first gold was won by Women Archer Deepika Kumari in the recurve individual category. Deepika defeated England's Elison Williamson in the final. A victorious Deepika said she put in her best to over come the competition.The bronze in the same event was also won by India's Dola Banerjee. Dola Banerjee who defeated Malaysia's Anbarasi Subramaniam was delighted by her victory.The President of Archery association of India, Mr. Vijay Kumar Malhotra said the Indian archers have made the country proud by their achievements.The second gold for India was won by Harpreet Singh in the Mens 25 metres Centre fire pistol shooting. Harpreet said he managed to succeed in spite of tough competition in the games.Vijay Kumar who finished behind Harpreet won the silver in the same event was also delighted on his success.The Union Sports M.S Gill said he was pleased with the performance of Indian Shooters.
