India awaits further info from US on Headley, Rana

India said it is awaiting further information from the US on Pakistan born US citizen David Coleman Headley and Tahawwur Rana linked to Mumbai terror attacks last year.<br/><br/>FBI had arrested these Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives in Chicago in October.<br/><br/>Talking to newsmen outside Parliament on Wednesday, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said Indian intelligence agencies are hoping to hear more from US intelligence agencies.<br/><br/>He was responding when asked about India's future course of action after US agencies found during investigations that Headley and Rana were involved in the Mumbai terror attacks.<br/><br/>In a charge-sheet filed in a US court, FBI has said Headley, a US citizen of Pakistani origin, and Rana, a Canadian citizen of Pakistani descent, knew that the attackers of 26/11 and were aware of their terror strike in advance.<br/><br/>US prosecutors have filed a third memorandum in which they said that according to a conversation between Rana and Headley in a long car ride, it has come to light that Rana was told in advance that the attacks in Mumbai were to happen and in fact offered compliments and congratulations to those who carried them out afterwards.
