Enhancing energy cooperation between India and Australia will be high on the agenda of talks between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries in Melbourne. The External Affairs Minister, Mr. S. M. Krishna is leaving Tuesday night on a three-day visit to Australia. Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Tuesday, the spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry Vishnu Prakash said that the issue of Uranium sale may come up for discussion in the framework dialogue meeting between S. M. Krishna and his Australian counterpart Kevin Rudd. The spokesman said, during the meeting, a host of bilateral, regional and global issues, including closer collaboration on security issues in Asia and in multilateral economic groupings like G20 will come up for discussion. The last annual meeting was held in India in 2009.Mr. Krishna will call on the Australian Prime Minister and meet the Indian media, besides attending the Indian community reception at Melbourne.
