India at 96/2 in 18 overs in their first innings against South Africa on Day 1 of 2nd Test

In Men's Cricket, India were 96 runs for 2 wickets in 18 overs in their first innings against South Africa on day one of the second Test at Newlands Stadium in Cape Town this afternoon.

South Africa were all out for 55 runs in their 1st innings.

Earlier, South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first. The hosts are leading the series 1-0 after winning the first Test. This match is vital in the race to reach the final of the 2023-25 World Test Championship. Both teams are hot favorites to make the summit clash, which will take place in June 2025 at Lord's, and the result of this game will make a big difference to the points table.
