India asks western countries to take Pak based terror groups seriously

New Delhi has cautioned western nations that they face similar threats from Pakistan-based terrorist groups just like India has been facing.<br/><br/>In an interview to BBC, Home Minister P. Chidambaram said, no country is truly safe as terrorist outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba today is similar to Al-Qaeda, a multi-country group. He said, once these terror groups are allowed to train, recruit and generate capability to build capacity to strike, they can strike in India, UK and Denmark as they were planning out of the Karachi project. <br/><br/>Mr Chidambaram, who was on an official visit to London said Pakistan's friends like the US and the UK should put pressure on it to close the terrorist camps operating in that country.
