New Delhi says, talks between the two neighbours are necessary but asked Pakistan to first stop supporting terrorism against India originating from its soil. Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao on Tuesday said in New York said that India's position is very clear that New Delhi intend to persevere with a dialogue with Pakistan and address all outstanding issue.Rao, however, did not respond to a question about an assertion made by Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahomood on Monday that Islamabad had sent suggestions to India through diplomatic channels that would lead to meaningful talks.
