India has asked its nationals not to visit Turkey until normalcy returns in that country. This came in the wake of violence in Turkey.<br/><br/>In a series of tweets, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said all 148 Indian children and 38 officials who are in Turkey for World Schools Sports Meet are safe. She said they will start returning to India in batches from Monday.<br/><br/>India has been closely following the developments in Turkey and has advised its nationals to stay indoors until the<br/>situation becomes clearer. <br/><br/>It also called upon all sides to support democracy and mandate of the ballot and avoid bloodshed in Turkey.
