In an incident, one person was killed and 6 injured last January in a multiple attack by the group in the northern city of Kano.

Two other Indians were killed and another seriously injured in another attack by unidentified armed group on the premises of Indian-owned industry in Borno State capital – Maiduguri – in last July.
