India asks China to address trade imbalance

India has asked China to address the burgeoning trade imbalance. Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Kalraj Mishra urged Chinese interlocutors to work with India to reduce this deficit in the interest of sustainable bilateral trade.<br/><br/>He also made a strong pitch for Chinese investments in its micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, especially in fields like IT, digital and mobile components.<br/><br/>Mr Mishra made the remarks while addressing the International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair in China's Guangzhou city yesterday. He said immense opportunities exist for cooperation between the SMEs of India and China for mutual benefits especially under government's 'Make In India' initiative.
