India asks Australia to book persons responsible for Indian student’s murder

India has strongly condemned the brutal attack on an Indian student Nitin Garg in Melbourne. It has called on the Australian authorities to bring to book the persons responsible for the crime at the earliest. <br/><br/>Nitin Garg was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants in a park in Melbourne while he was proceeding to his work place. <br/><br/>External Affairs Minister S M Krishna has directed the Indian High Commissioner in Canberra and the Indian Consul General in Melbourne to closely coordinate with the Australian authorities. <br/><br/>He has also asked them to extend all assistance to the family of Nitin Garg as well as to members of the Indian community.<br/>
