India and ASEAN will formally declare the conclusion of negotiations for a free trade agreement to liberalise trade in services and investments on Thursday. This was disclosed by Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma at a joint press conference with trade ministers of key ASEAN countries at the 2nd India-ASEAN Business Fair and Conclave in New Delhi. Mr. Sharma said, conclusion of negotiations will be reported to the heads of states and heads of the governments who shall formally make the declaration on Thursday, coinciding with the conclusion of the Summit in New Delhi.
