India and Argentina have signed an agreement for cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy .Nine other pacts to boost cooperation in several areas were also signed including an agreement on cooperation in outer space, MOU in the field of promotion of trade technology transfer in international trade.<br/><br/>The agreements were signed after the talks between the visiting Argentina President Dr. Cristina Fernandz de Kirchner and the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh at Hyderabad House in New Delhi today.<br/><br/>MOU’s for cooperation in the areas of energy , sports and a programme on cooperation in Science and Technology, were also initialled. The Argentinian President arrived yesterday on a three day state visit to India.
