India and the Arab League have called for peaceful solution to the crisis in syria. The came up for a discussion during the visit of External Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna and the Arab League Secretary General Nabil al Arabi in Cairo today. The two leaders will shared the views on wide range issues in the Arabic world and West Asia region.
Mr Krishna said that Indian is all the view that the way out to resolve the crises should led by in exclusive dialogue process it should be syria led and there is no external interact faster with them to help them.
The Arbian Chief Nabil al Arabi agreed with the Indian view point other the issue.
The two sides agreed to host Indian Arab Investigation Project in Abu Dhabi on May,22 & 23. Giving a boost to the Indo Arab cultural sites an Indian Arab cultural festival will be organized in the later half of the year, most likely in Egypt. The two sides agreed to have a discussion on the Arab Energy Sources, since 75 percent of India's energy requirement are met by the Arab world. The Arab League showed keen interest in the cooperation in human resources related issues specially in Education Sector. The Minister said that the prospective area of collaboration can be identified with EGC and ICCR.
Later in the evening the External Affairs Minister unveiled portrait of Gurudev Ravindra Nath Tagore at the house of poetry in Cairo.
