India announced a 500 million US Dollar line of credit for a host of developmental projects in Myanmar.

This is in addition to nearly 300 million dollars India had extended earlier to Myanmar for several other projects.

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh held talks with visiting Myanmar President U. Thein Sein in New Delhi on a host of issues, including the intensification of economic, energy and security cooperation between the two countries.
