India and Norway to sign agreements to boost economic cooperation

Several agreements to foster, greater economic cooperation between India and Norway will be signed after talks between the External Affairs Minister, Mr. S.M. Krishna and his Norwegian counterpart, Mr. Jonas Gahr Store.Both the ministers will jointly chair the meeting of the India-Norway joint commission meeting at Hyderabad House later tonight. Cooperation to enhance energy security will be the focus of discussions. Entire gamut of bilateral relations will come up for discussion in the joint commission meeting. Issues of regional and international importance of mutual interest will also come up in the talks. Mr. Store who is on a three day visit to India met the Commerce Minister, Mr. Anand Sharma early in the day and addressed the Institute of Defence Studies and Analysis. Store leaves for Pakistan tomorrow morning.
