Terrorism, drug trafficking, money laundering and smuggling of arms and explosives will be the focus of discussions between the Chairman of the Peace and Development Council of Myanmar, General Than Shwe and the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh later this evening. Mr. Than Shwe reached in New Delhi last evening on a five-day visit to India after a day's halt in Gaya, Bihar. The head of Council is all set to ink a slew of pacts after delegation level talks with Dr. Singh. Apart from signing a treaty on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters to combat transnational organized crime, pacts on boosting Indian investment in the energy, transport and infrastructure sectors may also be signed.
