India and Mozambique have decided to achieve a trade target of one billion Dollars in the next two years. After a meeting with his Mozambique counterpart in New Delhi, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma said that both the countries need to exploit their true potential in more diversified areas to push further the economic relations. Expressing optimism over the growing trade which stretched over four hundred million Dollars in year 2009-10, he added that India has increased its trade by 73 per cent and enjoys the position of being the fourth largest investor in the African nations. Mr Sharma also expressed hope for enhanced bilateral trade in fields of Pharmaceuticals, Automobiles, fabrics, steel and agro-chemicals with Mozambique.
