India and Mauritius today discussed bilateral relations and security cooperation, including maritime security and counter terrorism.<br/><br/>Visiting Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth today met Home Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi. Both the leaders agreed to take the relationships between the two countries to greater heights.<br/><br/>Mr. Jugnauth also met Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and discussed the strong and ongoing engagement with Mauritius in the hydrocarbon sector.<br/><br/>Since 2006, Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd India's PSU refinery, has been supplying petroleum products to Mauritius. Both countries are presently working towards further deepening the engagement in the oil and gas sector.<br/><br/>Mr. Pradhan conveyed India's continued support to Mauritius in meeting its energy requirement and also expressed India's commitment in Mauritius becoming a regional petroleum hub. auritius Prime Minister is on a two day visit to India.
