India and Kenya Discuss Cooperation Across Various Sectors in High-Level Talks

<span style="color: #222222;">External Affairs Ministry today said<b> </b>that several interesting ideas of cooperation came up during the delegation level talks between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto in New Delhi. Briefing media in New Delhi, Secretary (ER) Dammu Ravi said the Kenyan side expressed interest to learn from India in the area of Digital Public Infrastructure, FinTech space, UPI and Aadhaar. He said Kenya has expressed interest to have greater cooperation in the area of health and traditional medicine. Mr Ravi said Kenya is very keen to have cooperation in pharmaceutical and medicine sectors.  Agriculture and education cooperation are other areas which figured in the talks. Both sides have also issued the India-Kenya Joint Vision Statement on Maritime Cooperation in the Indian Ocean Region.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Replying to a media query, Secretary (ER) said India has expressed interest in getting cheetahs from Kenya.</span><br />
