<span style="color: #222222;">India and France held Foreign Office Consultations today. Both nations took stock of the wide-ranging India-France Strategic Partnership. In his opening remarks, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said the Foreign Office Consultations come close at the heels of a fruitful visit by Florence Parly, Minister for Armed Forces of France on 17th December to hold the third Annual Defence Dialogue with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.<br />'' <br />'' Before this, consultations were held in Paris on 30th October last year where both countries exchanged perspectives on the Covid-19 pandemic and geo-political changes at a global and regional level. Various facets of bilateral cooperation including in the areas of space and energy were also discussed.<br />'' <br />''<br />''Following the discussions last year, several high-level interactions took place this year that included three ministerial visits from France to India. Besides these, several dialogues at the working level have also been held over the year.</span>
