India has agreed to ease visa norm for Bangladesh people. Five-year multiple entry visas will be available to them for those under-13 and 65 plus. This was stated by spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry Syed Akbaruddin in Dhaka today.

Briefing news persons after the talks between visiting External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her Bangladesh counter part A.H.Mahmood Ali, he said India has also proposed increase frequency of the bus service between Kolkatta and Dhaka and the Maitree train service. It has also proposed for a bus service between Guwahati and Dhaka.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited Bangla Desh Prime Minister Sheik Hasina to visit India.Modi's invitation was given to Hasina , when Sushma Swaraj called on her today.
