India has again asked Pakistan for consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav and Nehal Ansari as Jadhav was arrested on espionage charges and Ansari was caught for illegally entering the country from Afghanistan to meet a girl he had befriended online.<br/><br/>India's renewed call for consular access to the two came after it exchanged with Pakistan the lists of citizens including civil prisoners and fishermen in each other's jails as per provisions of the bilateral Consular Access agreement. <br/><br/>The exchange of prisoners' list is part of routine exercise done twice a year in January and July under the provisions of the Agreement on Consular Access between the two countries.<br/><br/>External Affairs Ministry, in a press statement, reiterated its commitment to address the humanitarian matters, including those pertaining to prisoners and fishermen in each other's country. <br/>Both countries also exchanged the list of nuclear installations and facilities covered under the agreement on the Prohibition of Attack against Nuclear Installations. <br/><br/>The agreement provides that the two countries inform each other of nuclear installations and facilities on the first of January every year. This is the twenty sixth consecutive exchange of such lists between the two countries.
