<span style="color: #222222;">Army Chief General Manoj Pandey has asserted that India and Africa are committed to peace, stability, and security in the world. He was speaking at the conclusion of the joint India-Africa exercise AFINDEX-2023 in Pune today, March 29. <br />''<br />''The AFINDEX-2023 training exercise involved troops and representatives from Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Niger, Seychelles, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Botswana, Cameroon, Congo, Egypt, Eswatini, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Zimbabwe, and Morocco. The joint exercise is part of India's efforts to maintain greater engagement with Africa after the 2008 India-Africa Summit. After 2019, it has been organized this year. The concept of the exercise is de-mining and peace-building from a humanitarian perspective. Tactical drills and the ability to conduct operations jointly were the focus of this joint exercise.</span><br />
